Livestock Advertisements

The first thing I ever designed for print in an official publication was an ad for my family's cattle farm. This was long before I took any design courses, but thanks to some excellent advice through the process it ignited my passion for design.

My approach to livestock ads is to focus on creating a clear hierarchy of information, so you can get the key information at a glance and then drill down to the details. Often it's necessary to fit a lot of information in a small space, which means the little details like white space, contrast and selecting fonts that are easy to read become really important.
